Meet Becky Nagel, LCSW
Meet Becky.
I have an identical twin sister who thinks she is wayyy better looking (this is what she said).
I grew up on a farm and had various pet pigs. Wilbur could tell you he was hungry (really they all can … but he was more concise).
I ran a marathon, but almost quit halfway through because I couldn't remember why I was doing it.
I exhibited a drawing of an old phone in the state fair. They thought I chose an interesting subject, but really my parents were too cheap to buy a modern phone.
I am an artist in my free time and love painting outside (plein air painting).
I know how to milk a cow … but would definitely choose not to.
I learned how to ride a bicycle when I was in my forties.
I can speak Spanish when I’ve had a couple margaritas.
I can tell you the weather report every single day – I always know it.
I love doing karaoke to “You Never Even Called Me By My Name” by David Allan Coe.
"Our minds try to make an emotion into a problem that it thinks it can fix. We need to sit with the feeling for a bit, give ourselves compassion, and then see if there is still a problem there.”

I get it, reaching out is no joke. It's a big move, and I want to acknowledge that courage you're feeling.
When you work with me, you’ll find I’m warm, compassionate, and can crack a good joke when it fits.
I notice the little things and help you really get to the core of your experiences. With over 8 years of experience with deep work, I use techniques like hypnotherapy and EMDR that go beyond just talking and tap into your subconscious.
You’ll feel truly heard and understood, and together, we’ll tackle even the toughest stuff. I’ll have your back every step of the way.
It gets better.
You’ll start to notice your anxiety isn’t calling the shots anymore. Situations that used to freak you out? You’ll handle them with a new sense of calm.
Picture yourself speaking up without that knot in your stomach, and your relationships getting better because you're not dragging old baggage into new connections.
Life just feels lighter and more manageable, and you’ll finally feel like you’re in control.
Here's a quick look at what makes me qualified:
